Gionee Mobile have announced their new model Gionee Marathon M5 Lite.
The new model is actually slightly toned down version of company’s front runner model Marathon M5.
The major difference between both these models is the battery capacity. M5 sports 6020 mAh battery while M5 Lite is going to carry 4000 mAh battery.
M5 Lite is going to have latest Android Lollipop 5.1 and on top of that they will layered it with their proprietary Amigo 3.0
Gionee have decided to put Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 which is now available in many more 4G LTE enabled mid-range devices. M5 Lite is going to have 8MP Rear Camera & 5MP Front Camera – which should appeal to Indian consumers.
M5 Lite is also going to have 16GB ROM which can be expanded till 128GB with SD Card. The only disappointing factor in the phone is the resolution which is just 720p IPS screen. We were expecting more from Gionee !!
Company have not yet announced the date of availability and pricing in India.
