SAMSUNG GALAXY S4

Our first review about the much-awaited device that is the first phone with an 8-core processor.

The Galaxy S4 indisputably comes with impressive hardware specifications, but Samsung has stuffed the tool with gimmicky facial appearance.

At the first glimpse, the Galaxy S4 looks like the Galaxy III, but it has a vaguely bigger display and an attractive back. Also the ends of the phone are less sharp than the S III.

  • The Galaxy S4 undoubtedly comes with impressive hardware specifications, but Samsung has bloated the device with gimmicky features.
  • The device is noticeably light, and is slimmer and lighter than its top contender, the HTC One.
  • Made of polycarbonate synthetic, its metallic back panel feels delicate when removed. The back panel is also sheen and looks showy.
  • The Galaxy S4′s 5-inch display yields a pixel density of 441 ppi; it shows razor-sharp, exhaustive and rich images.
  • Performance angles are grand and the display is dazzling enough even in daylight, and therefore, content on the display can be effortlessly viewed under straight sunlight.
  • The rear camera captures extraordinary pictures yet in low-light conditions.
  • The dual camera aspect allows you to concurrently gun down with the front and back camera, but picture – captured using the dual camera feature – is disappointing. It is just a publicity stunt feature.
  • Even the drama attempt is one more uninteresting feature.
  • Performance on full HD videos on this vast, affluent display is amazing.
  • The Galaxy S4 comes with speakers which turn out loud, so far clear sound.
  • Despite the fact that Samsung boasts of features like Air Gesture, elegant Scroll in the Galaxy S4, but the truth is that these features don’t assist, actually hold back the overall experience. The Smart scroll feature works only if you are holding the device at an angle so that the front camera can detect your eyes. This did not enhance my reading experience, instead resulted in a pain in my neck. Also, I did not find myself using the Air gesture feature. I wonder what’s the need of this feature. I experienced the feature and after that rapidly disabled.
  • The touch screen is extremely receptive and navigation is smooth.
  • The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes packed with an impressive 8-core processor and a 2,600mAh battery. Our outcome on battery life and processor performance will be posted in our detailed review.
  • The Galaxy S4 comes with the same user interface and Samsung believes it has hit the charming mark but we entreat to disagree.
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 may be a commanding device, but it also seems to be just a modernized Galaxy S III.
