With the entry of Reliance Jio, we are witnessing more and more manufacturers have started focusing towards producing affordable 4G smart phones for the first time buyers. This week, we have seen 4 new models coming from 3 different brands, namely Intex, InFocus & Phicomm. As all these brands are targeting the first time smart phone buyers, surely, now there are plenty of options available for the Indian customers.

Intex Aqua Wing

This week Intex have launched 2 affordable 4G smart phones, and Aqua Wing is one of them. Priced very competitively at just INR 4,599 and soon it shall be available across all channels – offline and online. Though the model is not yet available on any e-commerce site. Company have just started supplying to the market.

Aqua WingIntex Aqua Wing have got 4-Inch 480×800 resolution basic display along with 1GB RAM & 8GB Internal Memory. Aqua Wing have got Cortex A53 Quad Core CPU Mediatek SoC. Aqua Wing is powered by 1500 mAh Battery and it have got 5MP rear camera and VGA Front Camera.

Intex Aqua Raze

This one is more interesting model as it is carrying dual LED Flash for both cameras – Rear as well as front camera. It have got 4.5-Inch 480 x 854 resolution display which is slightly better than Aqua Wing. The phone have got 5MP Rear Camera & 2MP Front Camera to go with. It is powered by the same processor as Aqua Wing Cortex A53 Quad Core Mediatek SoC. The phone have got slightly more powerful 1800 mAh Battery.

InFocus Bingo 21

InFocus – A joint venture between InFocus & Foxconn – have also launched their snapdeal exclusive affordable 4G model – Bingo 21.

Bingo21 have got 4.5-Inch FWVGA Display. Company claims to have on-cell touch technology for smooth touch functionality. It have got 8MP HDR Rear Camera & 5MP Front Camera which are much higher than the Intex offerings. The phone have got 2GB RAM & 8GB of Internal Memory and powered by 2500 mAh Battery. The only drawback is the phone have got relatively unknown Shark L SC9830 1.5GHz Quad Core Processor and hence the performance can be tested only when company launches this model officially. The model is exclusive to snapdeal and available at INR 5,499

Surely, Indian consumers are having gala time ahead and possibly being spoil for the choices. However, only strong brand building and after-sales-support only can prove – which company, consumers will embarrass.
